"Canoe 2.0" luggage system
C-Way presents a new development, the "Canoe" luggage system v2.0 for Honda Goldwing motorcycles.
The Canoe is a unique luggage system which has become a best seller. It helps you comfortably organize your space on long journeys. It is equipped with a waterproof bag made of boating PVC material, which is firmly fastened to the luggage basket with straps on four sides. The bags are made in a variety of colors so they may match your motorcycle color scheme. There is also a convenient handle for hanging the bag on your shoulder.
The Canoe luggage system is attached to the motorcycle frame, which makes the structure very strong.
Hinged trunks and bags are very inconvenient, spoil the paintwork of the motorcycle and cause great discomfort to the biker. The one-of-a-kind C-way "Canoe" luggage system developed by us for the most popular series of Honda "GoldWing" touring motorcycles comes to the rescue.
Adapter with quick installation system
The luggage system has a quick connection unit to the hitch. It allows you to quickly and conveniently attach the luggage basket to your motorcycle. This is what the quick attach unit looks like on the Canoe 2.0 luggage system.
This is what the process of detaching the luggage basket on a motorcycle looks like. Once detached, the hitch does not protrude beyond the rear mudguard or spoil the appearance of your motorcycle. Attaching a basket will also be quick and easy.
The cargo platform (basket) has great strength, high load capacity and a place for installing a duplicate license plate. High-quality powder coating ensures long-term operation without loss of appearance.
What's new in the C-Way "Canoe 2.0" luggage system
Let's look at the differences between "Canoe 2.0" system and the previous version of "Canoe". The main difference is in the quick connection unit. Here is the quick connection unit of Canoe 1 system. It is a welded stainless steel structure. And here is the quick connection unit of "Canoe 2.0" system. It is a single piece of stainless steel, milled on a 5-axis machine.
Processing on a precision machine makes this unit 100% repeatable. This allows you to attach to this unit a wide range of adapters that have the same quick connection unit, or another similar basket if required.
Quick-release mounting adapter
The luggage basket is usually mounted above the exhaust pipe to prevent hot exhaust from melting your stuff inside the luggage bag. The Canoe system has three height adjustment positions.
